The Homecoming bonfire will be on Monday, September 27th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Village Greene Park.

The event is being hosted by the student council and replaces the traditional fall pep rally. This is the second annual bonfire, the last one being in 2019 because of COVID. At the bonfire you will hear from fall athletes and the homecoming court nominees.

Student Council is hosting the event and is planning the theme and specifics of the bonfire. Junior Class cabinet member Vaishnavi Nannapaneni describes the class cabinet’s goal for the event.

“We are trying to make the most fun event possible given the circumstances with Covid. This is the first Homecoming event for 2 years of students so class cabinet wants to make it memorable.”

If you go to the bonfire there will also be food and activities. This includes games, pizza, Kona Ice, and more.

The Homecoming Bonfire will be a fun event to celebrate athletes, homecoming court, and to get people excited for Homecoming.
