On Saturday, November 18, 2023, the Liberty Library on Steitz Road is hosting a bargain book sale. This book sale will be from 10 am to 3 pm. Nicole Fowles, the Delaware County Libraries Communications Coordinator, said that the sale will take place in the Friend’s room, located in the lower level of the Delaware Liberty Library.
Books are $1 to $2 each, and other media like dvds and cds will be available for different prices. There is also the option of refilling a reusable Friends of the Library tote bag and purchasing all the books for $20. The tote bag must be purchased separately, however it can be used for future book sales as well.
Many of the books available were donated to the Friends of the Library organization, and they accept gently used books and media for future book sales. This is the last sale for 2023, however they are currently working on their calendar for 2024, which will include more sales at the Liberty branch library and the main Delaware Library.
