On November 8th, OLHS DECA is running a Powderpuff game with all four grades. This is the first time all four grades have been able to participate. 

“Powderpuff is flag football between the sophomore and junior girls and then between the senior and freshman girls,” said Josie Keane, a member of DECA.

You can sign up with the link in the DECA Instagram, @olhs_deca_. The fee to participate is $40 for a shirt or $50 for a sweatshirt.

“We are raising money for the driven foundation,” said Keane. “It’s a charity that provides families with basic needs like food, coats, water, and just stuff for the holidays.”

The first day to sign up is October 11th and limited spots are available.

“We’re going to have some food trucks there, and there’s normally a pretty big turnout from the school and community to watch so it should be pretty fun,” said Mrs. Wohali, the DECA teacher.
