Weekly Recipe: Natalie’s Banana Bread

Ingredients:
-1 cup of sugar
-1 stick of room-temperature salted butter
-3-4 ripe (brownish) bananas
-2 eggs
-2 cups of flour
-1 teaspoon of baking soda
-1/4 teaspoon of salt
Preheat oven to 350 and prep a loaf pan with cooking spray so the bread doesn’t stick
Cream together the butter and sugar
Add in the bananas
Mash the bananas with a fork
Add in eggs
Add in the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda and salt
This is what it should look like after mixed
Fill loaf pan with the batter and bake for 1 hour
Let cool (a bit, I prefer to enjoy it still warm from the oven), cut into slices and you’re done!

Tips:

  • You can freeze the loaf to save it for a longer time
  • Warm up a slice in the microwave and add butter (enjoy with a cup of coffee or by itself!)
  • Turns out best when the bananas are overripe or brown
