Today at 12:45 pm, there was a small kiln fire in an art classroom at Olentangy Liberty High school. The smoke detectors went off and students were able to evacuate safely. Due to the small size of the fire, it was able to be put out with a fire extinguisher. The Liberty Township Fire Department came immediately and secured the building.

There was a lot of smoke, it was very distracting,” said freshman Megan Benton, a student who was in the visual arts classroom at the time of the fire. Students returned back to class after about a 10 minute evacuation.
