Weekly Recipe: Hannah’s Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

Gather your ingredients
In a big bowl put together your butter, 2 sugars, and maple syrup and cream together
After creaming together add in your two eggs, one at a time
In a seperate bowl, mix together all your dry ingredients
Slowly mix in the flour mixture
Add in the oats
Next the butterscotch chips
Beautiful
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place the dough in rough balls. Any size is fine, if you want more cookies make them smaller.
After less than 15 minutes in the oven, you’ll be able to enjoy these delicious cookies!

 

Ingredients

¾ cup butter softened 

¾ cup white sugar

¾ cup brown sugar (dark preferebly)

2 large eggs

Dash of maple syrup

Generous amount or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 ¼ cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

Ground cinnamon to taste

2 ½ cups rolled oats

1 bag of butterscotch chips

 

Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees Farenheit (190 degrees Celsius) 

 

Tips:

  • Use parchment paper
  • Spread cookies evenly in even amounts
  • Don’t roll into perfect balls
  • Make sure to eat some warm!
