This past weekend, Olentangy Liberty’s Speech & Debate team traveled to Austintown for the state competition. The school placed 11th overall in the team sweepstakes, which is determined by the total points gained from the number of students who competed and how they performed. The team sent competitors in nine different categories: Congressional Debate, Congressional Debate – Senate, Declamation, Duo Interpretation, Informative Speaking, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Original Oratory, Public Forum Debate, and United States Extemporaneous Speaking.
