I’m Espen, a very active fantasy football player for the Patriot Press. Here are my booms n’ bust for week 6.
[BOOM] Kenneth Walker lll SEA RB:
The Seahawks defense has gotten off to a hot start in 2024. They have scored 20 or more points in every game this season. Their week six game against the 49ers should be another electric match. Kenneth Walker leads the run game for the Seahawks, and is also a force in the red zone. Walker scored three touchdowns in a game earlier this season against the Lions. He has also been active in the passing game, catching seven passes against the Giants on Sunday. The Seahawks will rely on Walker to bring home the win against their division rival, creating a boom opportunity for him on Thursday.
[BUST] Cowboys Defense
The Cowboys defense has been one of the biggest question marks in fantasy football. After being the best defense in 2023, the Cowboys have let up 44 points against the Saints, and 28 against the Ravens. The Lions have one of the best offenses in the NFL, with a loaded offense led by Jahmyrr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown. The Cowboys might be without their best defender, Micah Parsons, as he has been dealing with an ankle injury. The Lions are bound to score a bunch of points against the Cowboys, putting them on my bust list for week six.
[BOOM] Baker Mayfield TB QB:
Baker Mayfield has been one of the top fantasy football quarterbacks so far this season. He is currently the third ranked quarterback, ahead of superstars such as Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. An in-division match up is going to be a must win for the Buccaneers. Spencer Rattler and the Saints are not going to be able to control the ball, giving Baker more time with the ball in his hands leading to more yards and more touchdowns. Baker will continue to be a passing machine, and continue to be a consistent play at starting quarterback.
[BUST] Anthony Richardson IND QB:
Anthony Richardson has gotten off to a very shaky start in 2024. He has scored over ten points only once this season. The Colts have a match up against the Titans, who have the best pass defense in the NFL. Richardson is projected to start, however backup Joe Flacco threw for 359 yards and 3 touchdowns last game. If Richardson struggles early, Flacco could easily take Richardson’s’ spot. Bench Richardson in week 6, as he is bound to struggle against the Titans.
