Trader Joe’s has always been a staple for seasonal favorites. So this fall I decided to pick up 8 fall-themed foods and rank them out of ten.
Caramel Apple Mochi (3.5/10): Even though I typically love Trader Joe’s ice cream mochi, I hated this flavor. I ate one and called it a day. I would not recommend.
Mini Maple Marshmallows (6/10): The marshmallows were okay. I either couldn’t taste them at all or it was too overpowering. I do think it will be perfect for rice crispy treats or in a hot chocolate.
Pumpkin Spiced Madeleine Cookies (8/10): These madeleine cookies were one of my favorites that I picked. They weren’t too heavy and I could imagine them going perfectly with a morning coffee.
Pumpkin Spiced Joe-Joe’s (8.5/10): Even though they are really sweet the Joe Joe’s were one of my yearly favorites. The pumpkin spice is not too overpowering and I would buy it again.
Fall Leaf Corn Tortilla Chips (9/10): Although the chips taste just like normal tortilla chips their leaf shape and colors fit the fall theme perfectly.
Pumpkin Brioche Twist (9.5/10): The Pumkin Brioche Twist is a yearly purchase. It pairs perfectly with just butter or you can even use it for a french toast. I would recommend stocking up because they sell out often.
Pumpkin & Spice Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix (10/10): These snickerdoodles were a class favorite. They aren’t too overpowering but you can still taste the pumpkin spice and cinnamon sugar topping. They came out to 16 medium-sized cookies that will be gone in half a week so I will be definitely buying two boxes next time.
