The past few weeks have been extremely busy for the senior class. Prom, senior cookout, college t-shirt day, and senior awards have not been exactly easy to manage. Next week is no different, even more activities and the greatest event of all, graduation, are fast approaching.
Tuesday, May 14th
This is the last day of school for seniors and any final exams that need to be taken will be taken in class on this day.
Wednesday, May 15th
The annual senior picnic will be held at the Olentangy Caverns, which starts at 11am. The staff recommends carpooling with friends due to limited parking space available. There will be games, food, and prizes.
Thursday, May 16th
A packed day with senior breakfast (serving bagels, donuts, and more), graduation practice, and the Class of 24 picture on the turf starts at 7:30 am at the school. There will also be a showing of the senior video which compiles photos from the senior class’ time in the Olentangy district. Attending graduation practice is necessary in order to walk at graduation.
Sunday, May 19th
Graduation will begin at 9 am at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus. It is required to arrive by or before 8 am.
Make sure to appreciate every moment with your peers as you enter the next chapter together. Happy Graduation and Congratulations!
