On Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, the City of Powell is officially kicking off the holiday season with the Holidays in Powell festival. It will be held in downtown Powell in Village Green Park, and is from 12:00 pm-8:00 pm. The main attraction is the tree lighting at 6 pm. There are many other activities to do throughout the day, like taking your photo with Santa Clause, horse-drawn carriage rides, a community bonfire, and a holiday market. After sunset there will be a performance from the Powell Community Band, Santa will arrive with the mayor, and a sing-a-long.
