Olentangy Model UN will be having informational meetings this week and next week for anyone interested in joining.

Last night, the club had their first informational meeting, which attracted a very large turnout. The next two meetings will take place September 7th, at Hyatts Middle School, at 6 p.m., and September 13th, at Berkshire Middle School, at 6 p.m.

Model UN is a district wide Olentangy club open to all middle and high schoolers who want  to join. This club is a fantastic way to develop speech and debate skills, improve your leadership abilities, and learn about international affairs. The purpose of the club is to model the United Nations and teach students how to use negotiation, compromise, and persuasion to promote domestic and international peace. 

The club involves lots of group work, fun activities, and opportunities to develop critical thinking skills. You can join and get information for your specific school by texting the Remind codes below to 81010.
