The Olentangy Liberty Dance Team is a recent addition to Liberty’s extracurriculars and is currently looking for new members for the 2023-2024 season. 

The team started back in 2019 and is preparing for its fifth season. They participate in many school spirit events including dancing sideline at both football and basketball games as well as participating in pep rallies and community events. 

The team also competes at OASSA (Ohio Association Of Secondary School Administrators) dance competitions and has qualified for states in their past two years of competing. Tryouts for the 2023-2024 team will be held on June 12th and 13th. 

Sideline team practices will start in July and competition team practices will begin in August. Before tryouts, if you are interested in joining, fill out their interest survey which you can find on their Instagram @olhsdanceteam. 

There will also be an informational meeting held on May 10th for any inquiring families. The team encourages anyone who is even just a little bit interested in joining to fill out their interest survey and attend the informational meeting as they are looking for new dancers.
