Off campus has recently taken the internet by storm quickly becoming highly ranked. The show was originally a book and has a very solid fan base that has swarmed to support the show .
Many have said that the show changed major points from the book. I still thought that the point and message of the show came across. The show deals with themes of sexual assault and abuse all of which was handled beautifully and maturely.
Even though the show has some heavy themes it was still a fun and easy watch. There was not a lot of “thinking” that had to go into watching this show. Overall the vibes were good.
It is important to note that this is not the best show ever, it is not earth shattering and did not change my brain chemistry. But it was very fun. The show was a great watch and I enjoyed the actors and all of the story lines.
One thing this show does well is its side plots. This show had AMAZING side stories. I was deeply invested in the characters’ lives. I may have even liked them more than the main characters.
I felt like it was an accurate book to show adaptation but some disagree. Saying that side characters’ stories are different from the original plot line.
Overall is this show record breaking and mind altering? – no. But this show was a fun watch and I enjoyed it. The show was mostly accurate to the book and the major plot points and themes were present. I would recommend you watch this show if you are looking for a fun, no stress show.
