Third most streamed artist in Spotify history, Drake dropped his long awaited album “Iceman” on Friday, May 15.
At the end of his live stream for Iceman, Drake had a surprise waiting for fans, he also dropped two other albums, “Habibti” and “Maid of Honor” along with Iceman. Fans can listen to the new songs on Spotify, Apple Music and you can watch music videos on Youtube.
Fans have been expecting the album, since Drake put a giant ice installation in Toronto, which had the release date for the album inside of it.
Matthew Ismael Ruiz, a culture critic said, “He’s masterful at commanding attention. The ice block was smart because it forced people to talk about it. It was a physical impediment to anyone in that community, and that instantly goes viral.”
All together, in the three albums dropped there are 43 songs. This is his first album dropped since “For All The Dogs” back in 2023. Since then, Drake has had ongoing problems with another rapper, Kendrick Lamar.
These albums are no exception to the beef, as fans have dissected the lyrics in many songs and found Drake did say things that appear to be about Kendrick Lamar, like in the songs “Make Them Pay” and “Make Them Remember” which have lyrics about Kendrick Lamar.
