Oletangy Liberty Softball’s team is set to face Olentangy Berlin on May 18, at 5:00 p.m. in a home playoff game. Liberty comes in with a record 10-12, and Berlin a record of 11-14, setting up an exciting final game.
As the season unwinds, Liberty players reflect on their growth and teamwork throughout.
“This season so far has had lots of ups and downs, but has made our team grow together and come so much closer,” sophomore Avery Garrett said.
The season was filled with cherished memories between the team.
“My favorite memory this year is coming back in the last inning to beat orange 20-11,” Garrett said.
Heading into the playoffs this upcoming Monday, Liberty is focused on finishing the season strong.
“I think that these last games will be a test to how hard we have been working the past few months but if we all play how we know how to play and play together we will do really well,” Garrett said.
