After almost four years Harry Styles is finally releasing a new album. Styles released his last album “Harry’s House’ in May 2022 and after that toured until 2023. In 2023 Styles disappeared leaving fans wondering when he was going to come back.
Luckily this year was the year. On January 15th Styles announced his new album “Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally” would be released on March 6th. The album is set to have 12 songs and from the title and cover, I think it’ll be a little different from his other music. I’m predicting maybe it’ll be more disco-like.
However the current biggest news is that along with the album on January 20th Styles announced his new single “Aperture” would be released on January 22nd at 7pm EST. Listening parties were held on January 21st at different record stores across the world and it seemed that everyone said the song sounded different, it was very difficult to find a clear example of what it sounded like.
Luckily I did get to listen to it when it was released on streaming and I really liked it. Like I guessed earlier the song did feel more disco-like and I have a feeling the rest of his album will be this way. It definitely wasn’t like anything he has ever released before. It started off with just instrumental and overall didn’t have a terrible amount of singing in it compared to his other songs. My favorite part though was when he kept repeating the line “We Belong Together”, which was the line that appeared on most of the promotional stuff for the album. I’m very very excited to hear the rest of the album.
Styles also announced a “world tour” yesterday, however in my opinion it wasn’t much of a world tour. The tour only features shows in major cities (London, Amsterdam, Mexico City, São Paulo, Melbourne and Sydney) which was expected however he is only coming to one place in America. His tour features thirty shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City, which may seem like a lot but from what I’ve heard so many people all over will be trying to get tickets. I believe the tickets are set to go on sale January 26th and the general sale on February 3rd. You can still sign up for presale until January 24th.
