The Liberty Boys Varsity Golf finished their 2025 season Wednesday October 8th, earning several top finishes. The following results highlight the team’s key performances.
Liberty earned first place at the 1st OCC tournament at Turnberry Golf Course with a score of 287, followed by victories at the 2nd OCC at Denison Golf Club (286) and the 3rd OCC at Apple Valley Golf Club (289).
The team continued its success by winning the Wedgewood Classic at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club (292) and OCC 4 at Darby Creek Golf Course (291), where Mitchell Corbin and Noah Andry both tied for second individually with scores of 71.
Andry said, “OCC #4 went really well for the team and we had a few individuals place well alongside the team win”.
Liberty added to its list of titles with a win at the Hilliard Invitational at Heritage Golf Club (290), led by medalist Trevor Leeds, who shot a 69. The team also secured the Delaware County Cup at Delaware Golf Club (294), where Corbin earned medalist with a 71,
They finished with a win at Liberty Invitational at Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club (291), highlighted by Andry’s first-place finish and medal of 71.
Head Coach Mr. Snively said, “The second half of the season the guys came together really well and we were able to do some really special things as a team, but unfortunately we came up short on the last three holes at districts.”
