Max Downhower is a Sophomore at Liberty. This is their first year as a member of staff for The Patriot Press. They are also a member of staff for The Cannon. Passionate about what they believe in, journalism provides an outlet for Max to share their many opinions with the world. Their favorite book is Radio Silence by Alice Oseman, and their favorite movie is The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Their secret superpower is being able to recognize the first note of any song. Outside of writing, Max plays guitar, reads novels, and loves Disney.
