As students get farther into their highschool careers they will have to start thinking about their real careers. While that may seem stressful and far into the future it will come up faster than you think, that is why the school is hosting a career fair next month.
On March 7th from 10am to 1pm there will be a career exploration opportunity fair in the auxiliary gym. This will be a chance for the students to improve their networking skills and will also allow them to look into summer internships and part time jobs.
“Our goal is to expose students to a wide range of career fields and opportunities, helping them to explore potential career paths,” said Mr. Paletta the assistant principal at OLHS.
Opportunities like this career fair are amazing opportunities for students to explore different careers and different opportunities in life.
“ Our focus is on continually providing new opportunities for students in the district,” said Paletta.
Olentangy schools has partnered with the BridgeEd Department to host this event. It will be open to students during lunch or during scheduled class time. There will be about a dozen different representatives from different businesses.
“We hope this event will provide students with valuable insights and help them prepare for college and career readiness,” said Paletta.
