With lacrosse season quickly approaching, the Olentangy Liberty Girls Lacrosse team is already preparing for their much anticipated 2025 season. Last season, they won the state championship for Ohio, defeating their Central Ohio rival Upper Arlington 6-5.

Despite winning a state championship last season, the Patriots are determined not to be complacent and continue to improve. To embody these principles, their motto for this season is “Champions Never Rest”.

With great leadership from their seniors (Brooks, Hazey, Heym, Hilmas, Mohler, and Pohmer) and from their captains (Benton, Hilmas, Mohler, and Pohmer), the future is bright for this team. There will be many difficult opponents they face this season, including both teams in Central Ohio and from different states, so they are working hard to continue to hone their skills, develop team chemistry, and maintain their position as state champions.

During spring break, the Patriots will travel to Florida to play in their opening game. Their season will stretch from February to June.
