On Tuesday, November 19th, Olentangy Liberty High School seniors will celebrate Thanksgiving with a special event hosted in the gym: the Senior Thanksgiving Feast. This highly anticipated gathering offers a chance for the Class of 2024 to bond, enjoy delicious food, and embrace the holiday spirit.
The event, which begins at 11:15 AM, will feature a catered meal from Der Dutchman. The meal includes a variety of dishes such as turkey, beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, mac and cheese, salad, rolls, and more—ensuring there’s something for everyone. The cost of $30, which covers the catered meal and activities, was available for purchase through the parent PowerSchool portal.
Before heading to the feast, students will attend their morning classes. Once released to the gym, they’ll have the opportunity to enjoy not only the meal but also an array of engaging activities. “There will be bingo, photo booths, and lots of fun things to do,” shared Katie Chung, a senior member of the class cabinet.
This festive occasion is more than just a meal; it’s a time to make memories, connect with classmates, and celebrate together as a senior class. “It will be really fun and this is a rare opportunity to hang out with friends and enjoy good vibes,” said Chung.
