It’s never too early to start thinking about next year’s schedule and for grade levels sophomore and above, DACC could be a part of that. DACC is the Delaware Area Career Center, an outside program connected to the school much like STEM and ROTC.
For current sophomores there is an opportunity to go visit the facility and get a look around. DACC covers a wide range of careers and if you’re interested you can meet with your counselor. If you weren’t here towards the beginning of the school year for the informational meeting, you can also ask your counselor about that as well.
If current sophomores are interested in going, a permission slip must be filled out and submitted in student services by this Friday 10/25. The actual trip is on Tuesday November 26 and will take the whole day so classes will need to be skipped. For any additional information, ask counselors or refer to the booklet and paper handed out on the informational day.
