Edible cookie dough is always such a good treat if you love eating the dough, but don’t want to get salmonella. The flour is heat treated to prevent this and has the exact same taste as regular cookie dough used in baking. I used some alternates for some of the ingredients, but the taste and consistency is pretty similar.
Ingredients:
- Almond flour (you can use regular, they taste similar, but using almond flour will have a chunkier consistency)
- Butter
- Brown sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Almond milk
- Salt
- Chopped chocolate or chocolate chips

Recipe (about 2-3 servings):
- Heat treat your flour: Put ½ cup of flour into a heat-safe bowl and heat it in 30-second increments. I would recommend stirring the flour every 30 seconds to avoid clumping. Heat it for 1:30 minutes in total.
- Melt ¼ cup of unsalted butter
- Combine the flour with ¼ cup brown sugar, and ¼ tsp salt.
- Mix the butter and dry ingredients together.
- Add 0.75 tsp vanilla extract and mix
- Add ½ tbsp of milk if needed or too dry
- I just chopped some dark chocolate or you can use chocolate chips
Enjoy!
