With the start of autumn, Kung Fu Tea released new seasonal fall flavors. We tried the Pumpkin Oolong Milk Tea, Rosehip Pineapple Punch, and Yogurt Peach Lemonade, all with brown sugar bubbles in them. The drinks took approximately 7 minutes to make and came out right after ordering. The staff were very polite and helpful in recommending drinks.
The yogurt peach lemonade is a bubble tea drink with small chunks of real peach fruit inside. It has a strong sour flavor with a hint of sweetness. It tastes exactly like a peach with little yogurt flavor, and it consists of strong, overpowering citrus flavors. Appearance-wise, the drink was not that appealing, but we decided to give it an overall rating of 7.3/10 stars.
The rosehip pineapple punch is a fruity bubble tea drink with a strong, sweet lemonade flavor. It was on the edge of overpowering, but still delicious. It tasted exactly like a refresher drink, but it was missing the pineapple flavor as it tasted watered down with the lemonade. The best part of this drink was the appearance, a pretty pink gradient. We gave this drink an average rating of 6.4/10.
The Pumpkin Oolong Milk tea is a pumpkin milk bubble tea drink, similar to standard milk based boba. It tasted almost exactly like a Starbucks Pumpkin Chai but with boba. If you aren’t a fan of sugary drinks definitely get less sugar. It was very warm and comforting, the pumpkin flavor wasn’t overpowering, but if you don’t like pumpkin don’t order it. This was the only milk based fall flavor we tried so if you don’t enjoy the fruit based ones, Pumpkin Oolong is the flavor to get. We gave this drink on average a 8/10 stars.
