A – tasted good, nothing new
S – A classic chocolate chip cookie, soft but crumbly, and nothing short of perfect. I loved it and I hope they continue having it as a weekly flavor.
Pumpkin Square
A – AMAZING, best dessert Crumbl has had yet I actually devoured it. It smelled amazing and every part of it was amazing. The cream was so tasty, and the bread tasted incredible. The texture reminded me of the Starbucks’ coffee cake. I wish Crumbl had this every week, or at least every week in fall. 12/10
S – A great blend of a light pumpkin flavor and a sweet cream cheese frosting. The cake itself was light and fluffy, but the frosting was way too sugary for me. The cinnamon on top was a nice addition, but the sweetness of the frosting combined with the cake was kind of overbearing. Overall very yummy, but every bite feels like a year closer to diabetes. 7/10
Smores Brownie
A – It was good, a little bit too chocolatey in my opinion, I wish I could taste some graham cracker but if you took a bite that did have a marshmallow on top it just tasted like a really chocolatey cookie, but I guess that’s realistic for a s’more. 6.5/10
S – I loved this one, it was probably my favorite. It was a swirl of graham cracker and chocolate for the cookie base, and a chocolate filling, with 2 marshmallows on top. The flavors were a great blend together, I wish I got a stronger marshmallow flavor, maybe like a marshmallow fluff/cream inside, or even layers to depict a s’more. It was a good cookie overall, but could’ve been better for their expectation of a s’more cookie. 9/10
Peanut Butter Blossom
A – Very average. Tasted ok, I wasn’t a fan of the chocolate cream on top, was a very dry cookie 4/10
S – Disgusting. Maybe it’s because I’m not a big fan of peanut butter, but the flavor was lacking and felt like a simple sugar cookie with a hint of peanut butter and a chocolate flavor in the center. 3/10
Iced Oatmeal
A – I feel like I couldn’t taste any oatmeal, it very very slightly maybe tasted like an oatmeal cookie. But it tasted good. 5.5/10
S – Just tasted sugary. The glaze on top didn’t really have a strong oatmeal flavor, but it tasted like a normal sweet glaze. The cookie looked like it was trying to resemble oatmeal with the grooves on the top of the cookie. 4/10
Berries and Cream
A – Disgusting, I think I threw up in my mouth. The berries taste disgusting with the cream the pairing just doesn’t work. It might be because it was supposed to be chilled and it had been in my backpack for 2 hours but it was still disgusting. Would not eat again. 0.5/10
S – They put a single, huge blueberry inside it and that was in my first bite. It was pretty bad. The flavors together I think were okay, but the texture of it really threw me off. The middle was a berry compote that had chunks of berry in it and the frosting was unnecessarily thick. These did not pair well with the cookie base and I could barely chew it in my mouth. 2/10.
