As Halloween is coming up fast, Halloween-end is coming even sooner. Halloween costumes are ever-changing each year, with all of the new fads and trends. This year, in particular, we have seen the rise and fall of so many trends. So, here are my top five predictions for this Halloween season. 

1) Barbie and Ken

With the release of the new movie, Barbie, dressing up as Barbie and Ken will no doubt be a hit this year. Barbie and Ken also have countless options for costumes, the most popular one being the pink jumpsuit for Barbie and the Black leather jacket for Ken. 

2) Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift is one of the biggest names this year, and is considered by many to be the most famous name in the world currently. As talk of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce arises in the media, they are the new ‘it-couple’. To achieve this look, any classic Taylor concert look could be replicated, along with a Kansas City Chiefs jersey, preferably Kelce on the back. 

3) Remi and Chef

Although dressing as a rat and chef might not seem like the most ‘cute’ couple costume, the recreations on social media are becoming very trendy. The girl wears a white top, grey shorts, white socks, and mouse ears, and the guy dresses up as a chef with an apron and chef hat. As a cute look on both ends, this will be a popular look for this year. 

4) Avatar

Because the new Avatar movie came out after Halloween last year, the costumes never got their moment to shine. This year, people are doing their take on Avatar. This costume entails blue face paint resembling the patterns on the characters’ faces in the movie, brown tops and pants, blue mesh shirts, and fun gold accessories. It is also a great group costume for unlimited people.

5) Prince and Princess

A classic couples costume, princes and princesses will always be popular. This year, corsets are being used as the top for the princesses, usually accompanied by skirts, tiaras, gloves, and other essential accessories. Some more popular royal couples include; Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder, Ariel and Eric, Snow White and Fernindad, Hercules and Meg, Princess Leiah and Han Solo, and Tinkerbelle and Peter Pan.
