A Long-Delayed Announcement of the Writer’s Corner’s Grand Re-Opening

Written by: Nikhil Ravilla, Staff Writer

To those who may be interested, it shall be to your utmost pleasure to hear that the Writer’s Corner has been officially “relaunched,” or more accurately, has found a new home (to the two people whose works were initially published on The Patriot Press, your works haven’t disappeared, they’re just floating around in the abyss of the unexplored archives of our website)*.

Nevertheless, I hope this may be a place where you can feel free to share your work without fear of excessive scrutiny or criticism. Finding a place to publish your work, especially as an adolescent author, can often prove to be an arduous task—as I can recall from my own personal experience; as such, an inviting space would be an ideal opportunity to publish your work, irregardless of experience.

I’ve already taken the liberty of posting one of my own stories onto the Writer’s Corner, as egotistical and pompous as that may seem (please don’t be mean to my story because I will cry, sob, and bawl about it for an embarrassingly long amount of time).

If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us (or just me, because if we’re being honest here, I’m the only one who really cares about this). With all that being said, welcome to the Writer’s Corner!

*I’ll try to see what I can do about moving those two pieces mentioned above onto the new page. Also, I’m sorry I used so many parentheses in this article; please forgive me for my most grievous offense.
