The movie don’t worry darling is a very creative and entertaining movie that depicts the power of hierarchy being covered up by a lovely utopia. The characters were all entertaining and added to the plot of the story. Florence Pugh and Harry Styles had a lot more chemistry than I would’ve thought. I had only seen styles performed in cinema such as Dunkirk so I didn’t really know how he was going to be performance wise but he did a fantastic job. As the movie progresses you can really see the connection between the two characters developing. 

      The plot of the movie isn’t anything special or new. It is a really interesting movie though because of the acting. Keke layne’s character makes such a powerful impact on the movie because of her acting. Also another thing that I really appreciated was the use of repetition throughout the movie. Repeating the song she hears before she is put into the utopian California was a nice touch to the movie. Overall, the acting was nice, little things like the song gave the movie a unique touch and the cinematography was phenomenal. The movie captured perfect aesthetics and made it a more enjoyable watch.

     Everything in the movie I’d say ranged from mediocre to fantastic but something that left an unsatisfying feeling with me was the ending of the movie. When Florence Pugh’s character finds out the truth and realizes it’s a simulation she tries to escape and although we see her escaping the movie ends abruptly. Viewers never get the satisfaction of knowing she actually escaped. That whole ending made the movie so much less enjoyable. Overall the movie was nothing special, it had its moments but the whole ending made the movie feel unresolved and incomplete so I’d give it a ⅗.
