“Severance”, available on Apple TV+, follows a group of workers at Lumon Industries who have undergone a procedure known as severance, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. After meeting a recently-severed colleague who is skeptical of her new job, the group works to uncover the mysterious secrets of severance and what is really going on at Lumon.

With a perfect mix of suspense, humor, and drama, as well as numerous plot twists and cliffhangers, “Severance” is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. In addition to its amazing plot, “Severance” has incredible cinematography, acting, notably by Adam Scott, and a soundtrack that perfectly captures the eerie environment at Lumon. Despite being a dystopian drama, “Severance” has characters that most people will be able to relate to in some way. “Severance” provides a much-needed critique on the average workplace and societal views of work in general.

Although the first couple of episodes may move a bit slowly at first, the story quickly becomes intriguing as more layers of mystery are exposed. “Severance” has nine episodes in total, each one being even better than the last. If you are looking for a thought-provoking series that will have you hooked, I highly recommend giving “Severance” a watch.
