On February 27, 2022, Tyler Okonma, better known as Tyler, The Creator, will be performing in Columbus, Ohio at Ohio State’s Schottenstein Center.  He is performing as a part of his Call Me If You Get Lost Tour, based off of his newest studio album which was released on June 25, 2021.  He is touring across America and British Columbia from February 8, 2022 to April 8, 2022.

Tyler Okonma is an alternative rapper and record producer from Ladera Heights, California.  He joined the musical group Odd Future in 2007 along with other well-known artists like Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt, and Jasper Dolphin.  Since the creation of his debut solo mixtape in 2007, Tyler has produced 7 more studio albums, including Call Me If You Get Lost (CMIYGL).

Tyler kicked off his tour in Phoenix, Arizona with opening acts from artists Kali Uchis, Vince Staples, and Teezo Touchdown.  The performance consisted of 20 songs from CMIYGL and the majority of his past albums.  His setlist was:

“Who Dat Boy (feat. A$AP ROCKY)”

“I THINK”

“EARFQUAKE”

“NEW MAGIC WAND”

“RUNITUP (feat. Teezo Touchdown)”

Tyler’s setlist consists of some of the most popular songs from five of his eight albums: CMIYGL, Flower Boy, Wolf, Goblin, and Igor.  Personally, I wish that Tyler included songs from his 2015 album, Cherry Bomb, and a few more from Igor.  Overall, though, I like his setlist and think that the songs are an accurate representation of the varied styles of music that Tyler produces.
