It’s that time again Liberty, AP tests are creeping up and it’s time to study. But there are many who don’t know effective ways of actually studying for the tests and getting that five on the AP test. But do not fret, it’s not too late to study. There are proven study methods from AP teachers and AP students.
The first method for many AP history students for the history AP exams is Heimler’s History on YouTube and his personal website HeimlersHistory.com. Steve Heimler more commonly known as Heimler has many insightful videos on reviews of almost every unit for a variety of AP history topics. Plus Heimler has DBQ, SAQ, LEQ and multiple choice guides and prompts that further help students with studying for the history AP exams.
The next method is for most students doing math based AP’s like AP Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB and BC. Many students struggle with this subject but once you learn the best study methods it becomes a piece of PI. One of the main methods we recommend doing is Delta Math and Math Medic. Both of these applications can quickly help hone in your skills on these extremely challenging courses. “I use Delta Math and Math Medic to study for (AP Pre-Calc)” said Alex Kielczewski, AP Pre Calculus student. These programs are much of the reason why Olentangy Liberty High School students are poised to receive fives on these exams.
Moving on to science, there are a multitude of ways to study for a science exam (AP Biology, AP Physics I and AP Physics II). With the most common study methods involving review packets, AP books and the occasional quiz. With review packets being the most common trending theme among AP Science students at Olentangy Liberty High School. “Mr. Rush usually assigns us chapters and assignments to review for the AP exam. These chapters usually have a brief little quiz near the end to make sure you understood the material from said chapter.” Said Samanyu Vyakaranam, AP Physics I student. Overall you should be set in the science department if you do your assigned chapters and homework.
