Famous Johnson’s Ice Cream is serving free single scoops, plus the first 50 customers will receive a free shirt for their grand opening of their new Powell location.

Anyone is welcome and encouraged to bring their friends and family April 17, 50 South Liberty St 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Johnson’s Ice Cream wants to celebrate the opening of their second location in Powell by sharing the joy this spring with their well known ice cream.

Johnson’s originally started by opening their first location in 1950 located in Bexley, Ohio. Over the years they have spread their locations out of Ohio, however Johnson’s has a strong presence in Central Ohio. Johnson’s has been a three generation ice cream making company and their mission is to continue their commitment to quality, community, and the joy of an ice cream cone. Johnson’s is known for their unique, creative flavors and quality ice cream. Some of their most popular flavors include Blue Sky, Blueberry Pie, and Mint Cookies and Cream.
