Wendy’s thin mint Frostys dropped in mid-February with a fun twist in their Frostys. The Wendy’s thin mint Frostys were made after the look of the original Girls Scouts Thin Mint cookies. They made a chocolate and vanilla version of both the thin mint flavor. Wendy’s sells these for $2.49-3.49 depending on what size you prefer.
The small Frosty was the perfect amount of Frosty that left me satisfied. Both Frostys were not as pretty appearance wise, Wendy’s promoted it with pictures of the Frosty with a perfect mint swirl. But in reality, it had a regular Frosty look and just a bunch of syrup randomly squirted everywhere. The contrasting colors of the mint syrup and Frosty was simple and pretty.
Taste wise, it was nothing that made it really pop out. The Thin Mint cookie is very popular in the Girl Scouts brand, however the Thin Mint Frosty was just a regular Frosty taste with a taste of mint syrup. It was nothing amazing or out of mind in flavor, it was just a simple mint flavor that you could taste with the regular Frosty. The mint was not overpowering for me, and it was just a regular mint ice cream kind of flavor. As someone who loved the Thin Mint cookies, the Thin Mint Frosty left me disappointed with an overall rating of 5/10. I would say the other seasonal Frosties taste much better and much more unique than this seasonal one. For the price, I would say a one time try is worth it if you love mint.
