Jeni’s has recently added an ice cream for breakfast menu. As a kid, this was the ultimate breakfast and something that was given sparingly if at all. So naturally we here at the Patriot Press had to try it.
We decided to try the Balanced Breakfast, (pictured left). Which includes one scoop of Blueberry Johnny Cakes, Coffee with Cream & Sugar, and Darkest Chocolate in a waffle cone bowl. While we decided that the overall flavor of the Balanced Breakfast was delicious, and the Blueberry Johnny Cakes actually tasted like pancakes with maple syrup and the Darkest Chocolate was delicious, these writers were divided over the Coffee with Cream & Sugar.
Ava personally did not enjoy the coffee ice cream. It had an after taste, that wasn’t pleasant in her opinion. While Diya liked the coffee flavor even remarking that it tasted familiar to her. So these writers agree that if you like coffee ice cream or are a coffee fanatic, this can be the option for you. But if you are someone who is not a coffee lover, we recommend trying a different item. Like the Parfait on the Beach (pictured right).Which has two half scoops of Green Smoothie ice cream, Mango Sauce, Granola Butter, and Whipped Cream.
There is an option for everyone at Jeni’s, so make sure to go to the closest one to you and try out their menu.
