The 10th annual Powell Turkey Trot will be on November 28th, 2024. It is a four-mile race that will start at 9 am at the City of Powell Municipal Building/Village Green Park. No late starts will be allowed. The “Wobble til you Gobble” kids race will start at 8:30 am.
To celebrate the 10 year milestone, organizers are offering the best swag yet. Participants can look forward to the event’s first-ever race medal, specially designed to commemorate the 10th anniversary. Returning favorites include race magnets designed by local elementary school students, creating a keepsake that reflects the community’s spirit. The top 3 male and female finishers will receive cash prizes.
Participants can pick up race packets on November 26 and 27 from 10 AM to 7 PM at the East Community Room at 47 Hall Street, Powell. There will be no race-day packet pickup or registration. The last day to register is Wednesday night at 7 pm EST, and it will cost $60.
True to its Thanksgiving spirit, the Powell Turkey Trot continues its commitment to giving back. This year, proceeds and donations will benefit Bridgeway Academy, a local organization dedicated to serving children with developmental disabilities. If you choose to, there is also an option to donate extra towards the Brideway Academy.
