Summer is fast approaching and that means lots of amazing outdoor music events are coming with it. There are tons of music festivals hitting Columbus over the summer and they are bringing lots of great acts with them. Here is a look at a few of the most popular festivals taking music to Columbus this summer.

Wonderbus:

Wonderbus is coming back to Columbus for its fourth year and has many top artists on its lineup. The three-day festival is scheduled for August 25th-27. Wonderbus will take place on the Lawn at CAS which is located near The Ohio State University’s campus. This year their Headliners include Pitbull, Demi Lavato, and Caamp. The lineup also features many smaller artists including Sean Kingston, The Driver Era, Chelsea Cutler, and many more. Along with the great music Wonderbus also advertises its culinary experience. They do not allow any outside food or drink into the event, but you can bring an empty water bottle to fill at their complimentary water refill stations. There is food for everyone as they will have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Full weekend tickets for students are currently set at $119 but are expected to increase as the festival gets closer. You can find more information regarding acts and ticket pricing on their website linked below.

Sonic Temple:

Sonic Temple is a vast 4-day rock music festival that is coming to the historic Crew stadium this May. This is only the second year of the festival in Ohio. The last Sonic Temple event was in 2019, making for a gap between festivals. Sonic Temple is arriving in Columbus from May 25 to the 28 and will feature tons of artists. KISS, Foo Fighters, Godsmack, and Tool are just a few of the over 50 acts performing at this festival. Four-day general admission weekend tickets are still available for $409. While this is a large price tag you can also purchase one-day tickets for $169. This festival also does not allow outside food and drink. However, they do allow you to bring in one factory-sealed bottle of water as long as it is no larger than 20 ounces.
