The long-awaited third season of Ted Lasso will premiere on Wednesday, March 15. The season will have 12 total episodes airing once per week on Apple TV+, with the final episode being aired on May 31.

Ted Lasso is a comedy-drama that follows the story of an American football coach who is hired to manage a British soccer team. His inexperience in coaching soccer initially makes others skeptical of him, but his optimism and unique style of leadership prove him to be unexpectedly successful. Since its premiere in August 2020, Ted Lasso has gained immense popularity. The show has won 11 Emmy Awards, notably winning Outstanding Comedy Series back-to-back in 2021 and 2022.

For now, the future of Ted Lasso is uncertain. Although there hasn’t been an official confirmation that the third season will be the last, the show’s cast has suggested that Ted Lasso will end after the third season. Jason Sudeikis, who is a co-creator, executive producer, and actor in the show, explained that the show was planned for only three seasons. “This is the end of this story that we wanted to tell, that we were hoping to tell, that we loved to tell,” he said.
