So far this MLB postseason, there have already been six teams eliminated, with the new eight teams per conference and three game series with all games taking place at the higher seed’s stadium.

Some major highlights so far this postseason were the Indians and Yankees game two. There were 19 runs and 5 lead changes throughout the game. Another crazy series was the Reds vs Braves. The Reds didn’t score a single run in either of the 2 games. Including a 13 inning game where Freddie Freeman hit a walkoff single.

There has also been some amazing pitching from some of the game’s best. Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw threw eight innings and got 13 strikeouts with no runs. Reds pitcher Trevor Bauer threw 7 ⅔ with 12 strikeouts and no runs allowed. Braves pitcher Max Fried threw seven innings with five strikeouts and no runs. But the best performance in the first round was from White Sox pitcher Lucas Giolito. He threw seven innings with eight strikeouts and one run allowed. He is only the fifth pitcher of all time to have a no hitter going into the eighth inning.

There have been some amazing moments so far in the early MLB postseason and there should be many more to come.
