Fantasy Football Love/Hate for Week Three

Reno Misuraca and Grant Murphy

QBs We Hate:

Matt Ryan:

Ryan has had a good season but I don’t see him playing well against the 4th ranked passing defense of Chicago who is 2-0.

Deshaun Watson:

Watson is a great talent but doesn’t really have weapons around him now. This week he goes up against one of the best defenses in the league the Pittsburgh Steelers.

QBs We Love:

Carson Wentz:

Why we love Wentz is because the Eagles play against a very bad Bengals defense and is more motivated than ever to get his teams first win.

Drew Brees:

Brees had a bad game last week against the Raiders. Brees will bounce back this week against the 16th ranked defense in the Packers.

RBs We Hate:

David Johnson:

Johnson is going up against the 4th ranked rush defense in Pittsburgh. Once the Texans get down early I don’t see Johnson getting many touches this week.

Nick Chubb:

Chubb is going up against the 2nd ranked rush defense The Washington Football Team. He also has been sharing carries with his running mate, Kareem Hunt, which limits his upside.

RBs We Love:

Jonathan Taylor:

The new workhorse Running Back in Indianapolis gets a favorable matchup this week against an 0-2 Jets team that was torched by the 49ers RBs last week.

Miles Sanders:

Sanders reached the end zone in week two and we expect that to happen again in week three against the Bengals bottom of the barrel rush defense.

WRs We Hate:

D.J Moore:

Moore found his groove last week but we don’t see that continuing this week. He is matched up against a fantastic Chargers secondary.

Stefon Diggs:

Diggs has had an amazing season but this is the Bills first true test of the season. Diggs will go up against one of the best cornerbacks in the game, Jalen Ramsey. This might be a rough week for Diggs.

WRs We Love:

Terry McLaurin:

After getting seven receptions and a touchdown in week two, Mclaurin will build on his success again against a weak Cleveland secondary.

DK Metcalf:

Metcalf will continue to impress as he plays against a weak Cowboys secondary that let up four passing touchdowns last week.

TEs We Hate:

Chris Herndon:

Herndon is having an awful start to the season scoring 4.6 points per game in PPR format. This week he goes up against the number 1 defense defending the TE in Indianapolis.

Zach Ertz:

The Bengals have a decent pass defense but my main reason for putting Ertz on the hate list is him not getting the most targets at the TE position on his team, with catches being taken from him by Dallas Goedert.

TEs We Love:

Noah Fant:

With Courtland Sutton out for the year, Noah Fant will become the new top receiving target for the Broncos.

Mark Andrews:

After only one caught pass last week, Andrews will look to get more targets and red zone work this week against the Chiefs that have struggled to guard the Tightend.
