The boys varsity soccer team won big against Westerville Central on October 3, winning 3-1. The first half started out slow but about 20 minutes into the first half, Liam Garcia scored a goal off a corner thrown by Jaggar Brooker, but the goal was revoked due to a foul on the Patriots. Westerville Central scored soon after off of a free kick, making the score 1-0 Westerville Central. Jaggar Brooker broke the Warhawks’ lead with a goal and an assist from Blake Collins. The first half ended and the score was tied 1-1. The second half begins and the Patriots got a rough start with multiple yellow cards given throughout the first 15 minutes of the half. Jaggar Brooker managed to shake this off and score his second goal of the night off a corner kick by Luke Sensky. The Patriots and Warhawks battled for another goal when the Warhawks’ bench was given a yellow card. Towards the end of the second half, Jaggar Brooker scored his third goal of the night and a hat trick.
