Girls varsity soccer scored a huge win on Wednesday, September 3rd against Newark High School. The Patriots outshot Newark High School 32-1. The game started and the Patriots raced up and down the field and battled for a goal, and Grace Linscott scored the first goal of the night. With the student section roaring, Jazlyn Brooker scored the second goal for the night, making this a 2-0 match. Soon after, the first half ended and the Patriots reconvened for their halftime meeting. The second half began and the Patriots were energized and ready to start the second half. Quinn Casey scored the third goal of the night on Wildcat goalkeeper Emily Dietz, making the score 3-0. The Newark High School girls soccer team fought to the end, but couldn’t make it past Liberty’s defense, with a final score of 3-0.
