Forget the beaches and forests, if you really want a fabulous vacation go to New York City. There is such a wide range of things to do there. You just can’t get bored. On a beach vacation all there is to do is go to the beach which is fun but gets boring. A forest vacation as well might be beautiful but it would be tiring from all the hikes. I’ve gone on plenty of vacations where we had a great time but by the end we ran out of stuff to see or do. I think that going to New York City makes for the best vacation. 

New York has the best food. There are roughly 17,619 food options meaning restaurants, bakeries, fast food, and so much more. If you want to have the best food experience, some of my favorite places to eat at are Los Tacos No 1, Levain Bakery, 7th Street Burger, La Bagel, Glace, and Angelo’s Pizza. New York City is the center of America for a diverse range of food options. You can get any cuisine you would like. There are entire neighborhoods that have only one type of cuisine such as ChinaTown and Little Italy. If you want the best dining experience go to New York City. 

On top of the good food there’s also really cool sites to see. I think New York has some of the most fascinating things to see. Some of the most iconic site’s are the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State building, the 911 Museum, Time Square, the Met, the Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park and Rockefeller Center. My favorite is Time Square because it’s such a once in a lifetime experience seeing the hundreds of billboards all lit up not to mention how there are thousands of people. Central Park is also a must because there is so much to explore and it’s especially fun to rent bikes and ride around. These are only a few of the many awesome sites to see.

Besides food and sites the shopping is in my opinion the best shopping in the world. There are a lot of cool businesses out there that are an online thing but they have one store only in New York City. Some of the cool places they have are Glossier, Edikted, Stüssy, the Little Words Project, Vuori, and Free People Movement. These stores are so fun to go to because there are very few locations besides in New York City. The best places to shop at are Soho and Fifth Avenue, they’re both streets that are lined with the most unique stores. I could spend an entire week in New York City just shopping the whole time. Forget Polaris and Easton-  because New York City is the best place to shop.

New York City really is the best vacation spot. There are subway stations all over the city making transportation easily accessible and a fun experience. New York City is an entire cultural experience because there are people from all over the world speaking different languages and including their own cultures. It’s such a great vacation spot because there are so many different things to do that there’s something for everyone to love. Whether it’s shopping, going to a museum, seeing a Broadway show, eating delicious food, or going to a sporting event it will be a great trip. New York City really is the best place to vacation.
